Over the past 20 years, Dr. Deborah Prescott has successfully utilized radiation therapy to treat thousands of veterinary cancer patients.  Dr. Prescott established the Radiation Oncology Center at MedVet in September 2002.  Prior to joining MedVet, she was the Veterinary Radiation Oncologist at a large veterinary referral practice outside of Washington D.C., where she grew her practice into one of the most successful radiation oncology practices in the United States. 

Dr. Prescott received her veterinary degree from the University of Georgia, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1982, completed a rotating small animal internship at the Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983, completed her radiation oncology specialty training and PhD at North Carolina State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989, and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) in Radiation Oncology in 1994.  Dr. Prescott has been elected to serve as President of the American College of Veterinary Radiology-Radiation Oncology for the 2007-2008 term.
