Dr. Gwen Myers

Dr. Gwen Myers is an Emergency Room Doctor at MedVet. She received her degree in Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Following graduation, Dr. Myers worked in Florida for 2.5 years in emergency clinics for small animals and exotic pets. She then completed a residency at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.

Currently, Dr. Myers is the Associate Veterinarian of the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium, and directs the externship program at the zoo for veterinary students and technicians. Additional, she is an Adjunct Professor at the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Myers is a member of the American Association of Zoological Veterinarians, the AZA, AAV, AAWV, ARAV, AVMA, WDA, and IAAAM.
