Dr. Linda Lehmkuhl  Dr. Linda Lehmkuhl received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio
State University in 1989. She completed an OSU internship in Small Animal Medicine and
Surgery in 1990 and a Residency in Cardiology in 1993. In 1994, she received her Masters
degree, which focused on canine subvalvular aortic stenosis. She was an Assistant Professor
at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine from 1993 through 1999.
Dr. Lehmkuhl joined MedVet as the staff cardiologist in January of 2000. She has lectured on the local, national, and international level,
and has authored many publications. She is the co-editor of the cardio-respiratory section
of a leading veterinary textbook Current Veterinary Therapy, XIII.
Additionally, she serves as a consultant for numerous pharmaceutical companies, developing new treatments for heart disease. Dr. Lehmkuhl is a Diplomate of The American College of Veterinary Medicine (Cardiology Specialty) and past Chair of the Examination Committee and Forum Planning Committee for her specialty. She serves on The Ohio Veterinary Medical Association Board.
