Dr. John G. Gordon  Dr. John G. Gordon, a board-certified dermatologist, graduated from The Ohio State University College of
Veterinary Medicine in 1989. He then completed a one-year internship at The Animal Medical Center in New York City.
Following his internship he was accepted at The Ohio State University to complete a residency in veterinary dermatology.
During his residency, Dr. Gordon participated in several clinical trials involving the use of the synthetic retinoid
etretinate (Tegison) and the vitamin D metabolite calcitriol (Rocaltrol) for the treatment of primary canine seborrhea.
He also developed a method for evaluating corneocytes that has been used in evaluating antiseborrheic shampoos.
Dr. Gordon has lectured in the Midwest and Internationally on various dermatologic topics.
